Sounds like a proper exercise of caution right? Not exactly. In fact, it’s the opposite.
That list comes from the CIA’s Simple Sabotage Field Manual (1944). Yes, it’s a step-by-step approach to derailing an organization. Yet, for many executives, those actions (or should I say, “inactions”?) are “best practices” and “professional approaches” and “the way things are always done around here.”
Time for new management procedures to get back on track.
